XXIII edition of the International Defence Industr

International Defence Industry Exhibition is the most important defense industry event in Europe and the third largest after Paris and London on the European Continent. It is the only event of this sector in Poland, which every year attracts to Kielce thousands of visitors from all over the world. Among them are heads of state, official delegations, including representatives of Embassies, Ministries of defense, senior staff of the army and the defense Ministers from Poland and abroad. This year's exhibition once again was by the Honorary Patronage of the President of the Polish Republic.


During the International Defence Industry Exhibition equipment covering all segments of the military production was presented: engineering equipment, artillery and missile systems, reconnaissance systems and logistics equipment. At the exhibition visitors could see, among other things communications equipment, IT systems, emergency rescue gear, and counter defence equipment used by Border Guards, Police, Fire Services and Civil Defence.

This year Rosomak S.A. presented a record number of products that have arisen in recent months and they were:


- WOLF 120mm Fire support vehicle
- Modernized Rosomak - concept
- Technical Reconnaissance vehicle based on the Rosomak carrier
- Rosomak XP
- Fox 4x4 vehicle


The Company's booth was visited by many delegations at Governmental level, Ministerial as well as representatives of leading defense companies from Poland and abroad.


During the first day of the XXIII International Defence Industry exhibition President of the Polish Armaments Group S.A. Mr. Wojciech Dabrowski presented the Group Strategy for the years 2015-2030.


The strategy forecasts that revenue for the key 38 Group companies will increase three fold from the current 4 billion PLN to 12 billion PLN yearly, while obtaining EBITDA of at least 15% by 2030. PGZ wants to acquire projects from various programs for Modernization of Technology with values ​​above 60 billion PLN, which will create more than 100 new products. The group plans to reach up to 6 billion PLN in annual revenue from export sales and civilian markets. The strategy also envisages the entry into new business areas - alongside the traditional domains of PGZ products it is to act in the field of cyber, space and satellite technologies.


- It's the best, most cross-cutting full plan for the Polish arms industry in history. Thanks to its implementation PGZ will in the next 15 years will be situated in the top "10" defense companies in Europe - said Mr. Wojciech Dabrowski, CEO PGZ S.A. - PGZ as a new national champion is to build economic growth of the whole country - underlined Dabrowski.

 


Present at the announcement of the PGZ strategy, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence Tomasz Siemoniak recalled that the decision to create PGZ was taken in 2013. – The last two years have been very well utilized. Polish defense industry is going in the right direction - said Siemoniak. He stressed that if the arms industry is successful, it will also benefit the Polish army.


The ceremony was also attended by the Minister of the State Treasury. - The climate for Companies in the defense industry is very good, and the level of our industry is high - said Andrzej Czerwiński. He noted, however, that competition in this industry is very high, and a necessity for success is cooperation.


The PGZ strategy for the years 2015-2030 was compiled by more than 150 people from various Group companies. - We invited both members of the Management, as well as professionals in our Group to fully exploit their potential and experience - said Mr. Wojciech Dabrowski. - PGZ to be part of Polish National security - said Dabrowski.
