The contract for the supply of 307 AMV Rosomak’s

By 2019 the Polish army will get an additional three hundred and seven vehicles. The Agreement was signed in the presence of the Minister of National Defense Tomasz Siemoniak and Deputy Minister Waldemar Skrzypczak, the Agreement was signed by the head of the Inspectorate of Armaments and the CEO of WZM S.A.


Mr. Adam Janik stated that the first vehicles to be delivered will be reconnaissance vehicles and the “Rak” 120mm mortar Rosomak. – The duration of the contract and number of vehicles to be delivered will be adapted to the requirements of the Army - said Deputy Minister Waldemar Skrzypczak . There are also modernization plans for older turrets and integrate them Spike missiles.
- The signing of the agreement is beneficial for our Company and for more than a hundred sub suppliers, but also for the customer, because it guarantees stable supply. We also negotiated a lower price - said the CEO Mr. Janik.


- 2013 can be considered a year for Siemianowice - said Tomasz Siemoniak, Minister of National Defense, who was present at the signing ceremony. The minister also recalled that the earlier signing of the contract for vehicles with Finnish company Patria was important. The negotiations were long and difficult and it was necessary the Prime Minister to intervene. The new agreement with Finland is more favorable for the Polish side, than the previous agreement. This creates real opportunities for exports of Rosomak vehicles. A few weeks earlier, Prime Minister Donald Tusk during his visit to the Siemianowice facility announced the consolidation of the Polish defense sector.
