IFV Rosomak integrated with 30 MM HITFIST turret ISAF

The ISAF version of the Rosomak 8x8 is designed as a combat vehicle equipped with the HITFIST 30 mm turret which guaranties high combat effectiveness. The Rosomak is able to transport a driver, 6 infantry in the rear crew compartment along with a Gunner and Commander.
High power ensures high speed and good maneuverability in different types of terrain. Its construction allows the quick repair and replacement of certain systems. The vehicle can be transported by rail, sea and air. The Rosomak meets the highest demands of the modern battlefield.

The main armament of the turret is a 30-millimeter BUSHMASTER Mk44 gun. The turret is also equipped with a UKM 2000C 7.62 mm machine gun. The armament is mechanically integrated with the Day-Night sight, which allows to observe the battlefield. The HITFIST 30 mm is equipped with six smoke grenade launchers that are part of the self-defence system. The turret structure allows for integration with an anti-tank guided missile launcher.

To increase the ballistic protection of Rosomak IFV designed to operate under the missions, additional armour plates were developed.  The swimming system components were removed, and to extended the equipment the additional systems were installed instead. The vehicle is equipped with a lightweight protection system consisting of ten protective panels, which provides additional protection for the vehicle and crew against RPG-7 missiles.
