LEGWAN - a 4x4 vehicle developed for a variety of operational needs and equipped with armour providing STANAG 4569 Level I ballistic protection. It is powered by a 225 hp diesel engine and has fully independent suspension on all axles. The vehicle uses an eight-speed automatic transmission. The vehicle is equipped with all the attributes typical of a high-mobility military machine: a central wheel-inflation system and a runflat system. The modular design of the chassis allows the development of various specialised versions based on 3.3 m and 4.0 m wheelbases. The roof-mounted open turret allows the interchangeable mounting of a 12.7 mm, 7.62 mm or 40 mm rifle or grenade launcher. The vehicle's permissible weight, depending on the version, is a maximum of 7t.
